Wonderful stay with friendly service!

We had a lovely 3-night stay, enjoyed a cozy family room and a delicious dinner with an excellent selection of local ales. The garden was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea and the kids had a blast playing outside. The only downside was a bit of noise from the bar area, but it didn’t bother us too much! 😊

The King Room was really nice and spacious, which made it super comfy. The bathroom was good too, very clean and had everything we needed. The bed? Oh man, it was cozy! We liked the decor and those cute little curtains. But the room could probably use a little updating, felt a bit old-school. it was a solid night's sleep for sure.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Brown Horse Inn, where the spacious room offered peace and a lovely ambiance. The standout breakfast set a perfect tone for my day ahead, and the staff's warmth added to its charm. A minor downside, some noise disturbances disrupted my sleep.

we had a fantastic stay at the brown. the breakfast was amazing, and our king room was very comfortable with a nice en suite. the location is great, close to many local attractions, and the staff were very friendly. i particularly enjoyed the fish pie during dinner, it was excellent!

The dining experience was marred when the waiter seemed distracted. the ambiance was welcoming, but the service inconsistency was disappointing.

The ambiance was inviting, and the food was generally well-prepared, although my partner's vegetarian breakfast was a letdown. The room was spacious and comfortable, but a few amenities could use improvement, like better bathroom storage. a pleasant experience, and I would happily return.

Spent two nights in a lovely old pub surrounded by stunning countryside. The food was outstanding. the chef truly put a twist on classic pub dishes that were enjoyable. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, making our stay even more pleasant. One minor issue was the overhead shower not functioning properly, but they were already aware and planning to fix it. a memorable experience!

Excellent hotel with great wi-fi, a lovely bar/lounge area, and excellent dining options. The staff kindly helped me with directions on my first visit. Highly recommend!
